Requirements vary by program level, but here's what most universities and the F-1 visa require from Indian applicants.
UG programs: 10+2 with minimum 60% aggregate. PG (MS/MBA): Bachelor's degree with 60%+ from a recognised university. CGPA equivalents accepted.
TOEFL iBT 80–100+ or IELTS 6.5–7.5 for most universities. Some accept Duolingo English Test (DET 110+). GRE/GMAT required for select programs.
Bank statements showing funds equivalent to 1–2 years of total expenses (typically $40,000–$80,000). Loan sanction letters and scholarship letters are accepted.
